My shoot with Jenn for Classified Cosmetics was postponed today, so I thought I’d post something from the last shoot. It’s been very busy around here lately, but not a lot of that is actually shooting people. I have some cool jobs coming up though, as long as Marisa doesn’t go into labor right before or in the middle of them. We may very well have a new baby boy by the next time I post. 🙂

Andrea


This is Andrea Lin. I shot her for Classified Cosmetics. We were in the studio to shoot a small demonstration video on how to apply their new spray on primer and when we finished I shot a few stills of her close up. I’ve been talking to a rep in town that wants to try to see if they can get me some beauty work, so I’ll probably do some tests to fill out my beauty portfolio. I’m shooting Jenn again for Classified on Tuesday so maybe I’ll post some new images of her soon too. She got such a great response around here and Flickr.

Shelley


I shot a couple Dayspa magazine covers yesterday. Shelley was one of the models. I shot this after the job was done. I like to type short concise sentences. Anyway, this is the type of imaginative prtraits you get from me when I have five minutes to light and shoot something. 🙂 I don’t think it’s the angle of her head that bothers me, but the angle of her body matched with the angle of her head. 🙂

Juan Carlo


This is another repost from a couple years ago that I’ve re-worked. Juan Carlo was a bouldering partner of mine a few years ago. I say was, because I haven’t spent much time bouldering (or any kind of rock climbing) since Lily was born. I’m afraid I’ll hurt myself and not be able to bring home the bacon. Well, that and I want to spend all of my free time with my family.

Annabelle


After some frustration with a pro photography forum that I frequent, I started my own forums to discuss the business issues of photographers. Pro Photo Forums is just getting started so we need as many people to register and ask and answer questions as we can. Please stop by and help us won’t you? This is not a money making venture for me. Brian R


Here’s another image that I posted on my old blog over a year ago. This is the un-cropped version. I want to get a lot of the old images over here eventually because the archive section is so much easier to navigate. I also cropped a lot of them because of the way my page was designed, so they fit better un-cropped over here. Brian is my nephew and he is going to be jumping out of airplanes for the Army very soon. I hope the armed forces help him get his life back in order. I wish him all the best and I worry about him a lot.
