Chris Rutman

I had posted this picture on my old blog over a year ago, but because of the format, I had cropped it square. Well, this is much more like it. Chris cuts my hair (he’s a hairstylist, not a magician). The “solarization” effect here is done by exposing a Polaroid Type 55 negative to flash before it’s done processing. That’s how you let the evil in. 🙂

lighting: Speedotron with X-SM Chimera softbox as the main light and an open 11″ reflector as fill on the right. The fill light was also allowed to spill onto the background to light it a bit.
