Queen Ceana

Another shot of Ceana from our test shoot a while back. You knew I was going to have a Polaroid 55 for that right? Well, here it is. I have two other variations that I like, but this looks so regal, she’s like a queen.
model: Ceana
makeup/hair: Roshar
camera/film: Horseman LX 4×5. Schneider 360mm 6.8 Symmar S. Polaroid Type 55.
lighting: Speedotron head with 20 inch dish covered with diffusion as the main light directly over the camera aimed down at the face. Speedotron head with XS soft box aimed back towards face on the left and right for fill/rim/hair light. One head aimed at wall for a little fill on the right.
A Queen! You are right Brooks, that are the only words to describe the majesticallity of this model. Great shot. I love it very much.
Great work as all of yours is. Thanks for the kind words on my blog. You have inspired me to think about shooting my 4×5. I say think about because I tend to not have time to do the stuff I want, but I am trying to make it happen. One day when I actually shoot it, I will post it!
Awesome as always Brooks, I inspire to be you when I “grow” up. Can you do me a favour Brooks, would like to get your opinion on our (my wife’s & I) work. Would it be possible to visit our blogs http://suby.shutterchance.com & http://subysinem.aminus3.com and let me know what your take is on our work and style. Is it of a good standard, we really want to improve in our work and honest inputs and advise are always welcome, love your work and any advise from you would be greately appreciated.
Suby
there’s some really interesting stuff going on around her collarbones and neck.
