Another fun shot from my shoot with Anisa. Anisa is an aspiring actress and at fifteen years old, I have to say that the camera loves her. Let’s all hope she becomes a star some day.

camera/film: Canon 1Ds Mk II, 100mm 2.8 Macro.
lighting: Elinchrome Octa bank in directly behind and above me with two speedotron heads and 11″ reflectors to each side. There’s also a light on the background. This effect is all about shooting a normal exposure and pumping up the contrast with levels adjustments in Photoshop. There is detail on the sides of her face in the RAW file, but I like it blown out a bit for this kind of shot.
