Nicolette just went from blonde to brunette so we did a test shoot to get her some more pictures for her portfolio. This was one of those, “we have a half hour left” shots that ended up looking OK after we finally finished and took a breath. 🙂

camera/film: Canon 5D. 70-200L IS @ 90mm.
lighting: Elinchrom Octa bank on the right as main light and a single head with a 7 inch reflector aimed at the back wall (white beyond the seamless) on the left as fill/rim light. Note: I often aim a light at the white wall or background for fill/rim light because I can adjust the softness by simply moving the light closer or further away from the wall. Closer gives a smaller source and harder light.
