Nicolette

I suppose these are not germaine questions for most of your blog readers....but; during these sessions....how much of the posing are you directing, as opposed to letting the model "do her thing".? Curious, old minds want to know.

hey! I just found your blog from your comment on Jason's so NO, I didn't write that third paragraph because I've been reading yours! with a portfolio like yours, you don't *need* to gloat your accolades on your blog!

anyhow this is gorgeous. this is the language of photography, "painting with light."

Thanks Christine... I was hoping you would find my comment funny at least. :-)

Yes Dov... Look at her! :-)

Stikman - The light on the back wall is not on the blue background... Well, not directly. It's on the white wall just to the left of the seamless paper. That light is lighting her whole right side, shoulder, neck and chin. The background was vignetted in post which throws off the lighting description a bit.

Hey Bob... It totally depends on the model. I let Nicolette do her thing, then stopped her to concentrate on poses I wanted to work on more.
