		<description><![CDATA[Well, 360mm is about the 35mm format equivalent to 171mm in 4x5, and that translates to about 51mm in 8x10, so it&#039;s about what we would call a &quot;normal&quot; lens for 8x10. Of course, you can just get closer, and that may give you what you need, but it&#039;s a little different. Try putting a 50mm lens on your 35mm, if you have one, or a full frame digital and see how that looks to you.

The 480mm, which translates in 35mm to about a 70mm lens is what most feel is the starting point for a portrait lens in 8x10.

		<description><![CDATA[Great cover photo. I&#039;m curious about your experience with 8x10. I&#039;m looking at buying a similar lens that you used for this shot using your Horseman 4x5. Would this same lens produce this close up of a shot in 8x10? I seek a lens I can use for head/shoulder portraits in 8x10 with instant film (expired Polaroid and the stuff coming later this year from the Impossible Project).
